Truck: 2001 twin steer Peterbuilt 357 with Cat C15 engine rated at 550 hp.
Compressor: Sullair 1000 CFM 350 PSI
Mud Pump: Mission Magnum 4X3X13 Mechanical seal
Water Injection: FMC 4 cylinder 18 GPM
Lubricator: 7 Gal capacity air operated
Top head: 6” opening, dual motor head
Winch: 20,000 lb. single line pull, hydraulic drive, capable of 2 part reeving for 40,000 lbs.
Hoist / Pulldown: Top head hoist / holdback 40,000#. Pulldown 20,000#.
Pipe handling: Single arm loader and carousel set for 4-1/2” drill pipe. (I’m not sure if the carousel is still in the mast.)
Power Take Off: Gear driven with pressure lubrication.
Aux Winch: Braden model BG8 winch mounted on mast.
The gear box and top head were completely rebuilt with-in a few months ago and all the pumps and motors have been replaced with new. Also attached are pictures and specs from when we rebuilt the top head and Cotta box.
The hours and miles are also in the pictures. This rig runs very good
and so does the 1000/350 Sullair air compressor.
The 6” clear opening makes it very easy to drill direct or reverse rotary. The last will accommodate range 2 drill pipe.
